Davis would walk through Seaside Cave with thoughts of getting some rest at the Pokemon Center after he gets to Torrento before he heads to take on the Torrento Gym. The cave itself seems to be pretty dark, but lucky for him, he had thought to bring a flashlight with him on his journey. As he walks through the cave, he points the flashlight around the cave, noticing a river flowing to his side as well as plenty of Zubat on the ceiling. Unfortunately, a pair of Zubat, one level 24 and the other level 25 catch sight of Davis' flashlight and swoop down on him. " Looks like we gotta battle our way out here. Go Chu and Yukai." Davis says as he sends out his Pikachu and Kirlia.
" Chu use Thunderbolt on the first Zubat and Yukai use Confusion on the second." Davis says as Chu shoots forth a massive volt of electricity onto Zubat as it swoops, shocking it hard, dealing 81 damage, fainting it.

Yukai would then release a blast of psychic energy onto the second Zubat, grabbing it in mid air and slamming it into the ground (Zubat 64/77) Zubat would the attack back with Confuse Ray, releasing a shining ray of light onto Yukai, confusing him. " Yukai are you okey?" Davis asks, but Yukai seems to look around as though dizzy.
" Shoot, Yukai is confused. You'll have to finish it Chu. Thunderbolt." Davis says as Chu jumps up at Zubat, releasing a volt of thunfer onto it, shocking it, dealing 76 damage, fainting it.

" Nice job both of you, let's get to Torrento before we get attacked again." Davis says recalling both Yukai and Chu before running towards the exit of the cave and entrance of Torrento, heading towards the Pokemon Center.
