Sorento would come into the abandoned mines hearing that a gible was here that he could catch. Although after wandering around for a bit, he discovered a vital clue. He was lost, Sorento had always loved being above ground, so being below it kind of made feel cramped and confused. Sorento would take out Hisaru to keep him company as he rested on a flat rock.

Davis would continue with his time exploring the cave looking to see what other mysteries the cave had hidden. As he walked on, he head the sound of footsteps coming from behind echoing from the front of the cave. Knowing it was too soon to be Rorak, Davis would head back the other way to discover it's source. Arriving at the spot, Davis would see it was another trainer. " I see you're a trainer. Looking to do some training in this place too?" Davis asked

Sorento would hear the sound of the voice, turning toward it he sees a brown haired trainer with green eyes and some clothes with pokeball symbols on them. Sorento would say "Its more like I'm lost on my way to find a gible. Though at the moment I could care less about catching a 6.4.2 pokemon."

" Oh I see, I'm in here to train my pokemon for our next gym battle, though finding a cool pokemon like Gible would be a nice bonus." Davis responds with a bit of a laugh, rubbing the back of his head.

" The Volco Gym just in the town of Volco. I thought it would be a good idea to use the caves as a place to train since it has an abundance of fire pokemon, just like the gym's specialty." Davis responds.

Sorento would take a flask of water and take a sip of it, saying " Just use a rock, water, or ground pokemon thats what I did. And if you don't mind me asking what starter did you get?"

" I don't mind, I started out with a Bulbasaur back when I started out on my quest." Davis responds thinking back to getting Arbol.

Sorento would think for a bit wondering maybe this trainer didn't get formal schooling on pokemon types. Oh well its not like everybody is rich, so Sorento would say "Interesting thought, why did you pick a grass pokemon anyway, they usually end up on the low numbers on attack, and big numbers on the weaknesses. Especially with Bulbasaur being a Poison type as well, the most your going to get out of it naturally is a water and ground killer, with ability to defeat other grass."

" My reason for choosing a Bulbasaur at the start was that it had been my first choice even before I had to pick. Being a trainer isn't all about strengths and weaknesses, it's about raising your pokemon to be strong despite what pokemon they are. Bulbasaur may have a number of weaknesses, but I'm gonna be a champion trainer regardless." Davis responds thinking of how he had raised his starter since he had received it. " Besides, my Bulbasaur has been a top tier member of my team ever since I first got it."

Sorento would smile a bit "I'm not saying he hasn't, I've just been drilled on types till I can recite type strengths and weaknesses like I was breathing. Of course caring for your pokemon is a first but, choosing the right team for the right job will make you work that much less and enjoy alot more. For example, Hisaru here is a Fire/Fight type which rates a 7-6-3 on the scale. I could have gone with a water type as my first, or even went with torchic. Though Hisaru has a better move set so thats why I picked him."
Sorento would think what the trainer had to say putting a few more sentences out there "Grass is a good type, though a bulbasaur and its evolutions have a 4-4-3 for the scale. So its about an average, probably on the low side if I'm honest. Though I'm not here to preach or teach or get you mad. I would like to get out of here, and I could help you train since I have Hisaru handy, plus having already beaten the Volco gym I can give you some pointers in exchange for a favor."

" I don't think about my pokemon in terms of numbers after all, raising them is all a part of the fun. Besides even if Arbol isn't strong against certain opponents, I have my other pokemon. They support eachother's weaknesses in battle." Davis responds voicing his way of training pokemon. " But I'll do it as a freebie, I like to come up with my own strategies for my upcoming battles. I can't really grow as my own kind of pokemon trainer if I don't learn for myself. What is it that you need help with?"

Sorento would shrug about this trainers unwant for assisstance, however if the trainer wanted to help Sorento, he wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth. Sorento would say "Well I would like to evolve my Scyther into a Scizor, though that can only be done through trading, so can I trade evolve my scyther and then trade back after thats done?"

" Technically trading it, while it's holding a Metal Coat." Davis responds thinking of what he had known about pokemon evolution. " I'll help you with that, but before we start, is your Scyther holding a Metal Coat?"

Sorento would say curtly "Not at the moment but if your going to agree then I can put it on him and we can do the trade." Sorento brings out Scyther tells her whats going on and gives her the metal coat to hold. She nods acknowledging what she is doing, and is then placed in her nest ball again. Sorento would nod to the trainer saying that he is ready.
