Onto the White Sand

The ferry Tori was on would arrive at the docks of the White Beach as Tori and Pika would disembark. " Well here we are Pika-chan, Torrento Island. Based on my pokegear there's a Contest Hall here in Torrento so that means we'll be coming back here soon enough." Tori says to Pika as she would wave her hand up giving a happy cry to Tori as they walked onto the beach.

Tori would arrive back on the White Beach ready to head off of the island on the Ferry to the mainland. However as she arrives at the beach, she would see that there was no ferry there just yet. Thinking of something to do to pass the time, Tori would walk along the beach to see what pokemon had lived there since she had simply gone straight to the cave the last time she was there. As she walked however, a girl would come up to her from the water. " Hey you're a trainer right?" Swimmer Mary would ask, seeing Pika on her shoulder.

" Yea I'm waiting on the ferry so I can go back to the mainland." Tori responds.

" Well how about a battle then to pass the time?" Mary asks holding a pokeball.

" Sure it'd be a fun way to pass the time until the ferry arrives." Tori responds as Mary would throw the pokeball towards the water, releasing her Finneon. " Pika-chan let's go, give it a Thunderbolt." Pika would nod as she rand down to the water's surface, charging up a volt of electricity, releasing it into the water, shocking Finneon, dealing 124 damage, fainting it.

" Wow that was a fast round." Mary says recalling her pokemon as she sends out her Pelipper to the field.

" Pika-chan let's make this quick. Give it a Thunderbolt." Tori says as Pika would jump onto Tori's shoulder as she would thrust her arm up, sending Pika up into the air as she closes the distance between them enough to release the volt of electricity onto it, shocking it hard, dealing 268 damage, fainting it.

" Wow you're Pikachu is very well trained. It really handled my pokemon fast and without even taking a hit. You're a strong trainer, maybe we could battle again sometime." Mary says as she gives Tori $1100 and a Water Stone before heading off.
