Climbing the Lower Rise

Davis would make his way up the Lower Rise from Shadow City ready to make his way to Mount Infinity. " Well if I'm going to get to Skykia, I'm gonna have to make it up Mount Infinity. I better get started, it's a long way up." Davis says to himself looking at his pokegear as he would start up the path. Suddenly a rock would come tumbling down the path as Davis would quickly jump to the side as a girl would suddenly come running down with a Combuskin.

" Oh I'm sorry about that, are you alright?" Tyler asks Davis as she would reach him. " I had been training with my Combuskin but we had lost control of the terrain.

" Don't worry, no harm done. I had managed to get out of the way before it could hit." Davis responds. " But since you're training, how about a bit of a battle to help with training for both of us?"

" That sounds like a great idea, let's get started. Go Combusken." She says as she sends forth her pokemon.

" Alright let's go, Yukai." Davis says as he releases his Gallade to the field. " Yukai start things off with Psycho Cut." Yukai would nod as he jumps forward at Combusken as his swords glow blue as he slashes down at it ( Combusken 46/102) Tyler would then tell her Combusken to use Fire Punch as she would go along with its movements as Combusken would punch Yukai with a flaming fist, pushing him back some (Yukai 139/142)

" Yukai give it another Psycho Cut." Davis says as Yukai would lunge forward at Combusken, slashing it across the chest with psychic energy, dealing 56 damage, fainting it.

" That was a great battle from you. Your Gallade has been raised very well and fought very greatly especially in physical combat." Tyler says as she gives him $900. " If you want a rematch come back sometime down the line, I'll be sure to give you one." She would then head off as Davis continues his trek up the lower rise.

Davis would continue climbing up the Lower Rise on his way to Mount Infinity for his next gym battle. On his way through the Lower Rise, he would come to a clearing where a level 25 Machop and level 26 Mankey would be sparring one another. Davis interested would go over to the 2 of them. " Hey if you 2 want a spar, how about against me?" Davis says as the 2 would agree to take on Davis. " Alright then here we go Starry and Yukai." Davis would send his Staraptor and Gallade to the field.

" Starry start out with Aerial Ace on Mankey and Yukai folow up with Psycho Cut on Machop." Davis says as Starry would fly iN at Mankey with great speed as a white aura surround it as she strikes, dealing 88 damage, fainting it.

Yukai grew to lv 42*

Yukai would then lunge at Machop as his sword would glow with psychic energy as he slashes down at it, dealing 81 damage, fainting it as well.

" That was a great battle from the 2 of you, you both were great being able to one shot them both in a perfect victory." Davis says to his pokemon congratulating them as he would recall them. " And thank both of you for a good battle." Both pokemon would give a cry of welcome as Davis continues on.

Making it up tot he Lower Rise, Davis would look around the area since it had been a while since he had been there last. Knowing that he had only been in that area to pass through on his way to the ridge portion of the area. Hearing the sound of something tumbling along, a pair of level 17 Geodude would come rolling down the rise towards Davis, not seeming to slow down at all. " Reina, Aura get the two of them." Davis says as he would release his Tsutarja and Riolu to the field to battle. " Reina get the closest one with your Leaf Blade and Aura get the other with your Drain Punch." Reina would nod to him before jumping into the air, spinning towards Geodude, her tail taking on a bladed form as she slashes it with her tail, knocking it off balance, dealing 92 damage, fainting it.

Aura grew to lv 28*

Aura would quickly leap forward at the second Geodude, punching forward at it as her hand glows with a spiraling aura, knocking it from its rolling (Geodude 57/83) (Riolu 90/91) Geodude would quickly recover and attack back with Rock Throw, picking up bits of the ground, throwing it over at Aura, knocking her off balance (Aura 87/91) " Reina get it with your Energy Ball." Davis says as Reina would form a ball of energy in front of her mouth, spitting it forward at Geodude, striking it, exploding on impact, dealing 80 damage, fainting it.

" Alright, that takes care of those two and even better, the both of you were great working together to do it. Maybe we can strengthen your teamwork even more while we're here." Davis says as Aura would give a happy cry and Reina a proud nod.

Returning to the Lower Rise, Davis would look around the area since it had been a while since he had been there last. Wanting to get through there fast to get up the mountain, he would start up the path towards the Grand Ridge. However as he walks, he would hear a rumbling as a level 25 Mankey would come riding down at him on a level 22 Geodude. " We won't let this stop us. Let's go Yukai and Aura." Davis says as he releases the two from their pokeballs into the path of the two. " Quick Yukai, get Mankey with your Psycho Cut and Aura, stop Geodude with Drain Punch." Both would nod as Yukai leaps up into the air towards Mankey as his arms glow with psychic energy before he comes down slashing at it with his swords sending it skidding to the ground, dealing 88 damage, fainting it.

Aura grew to lvl 29*

Aura would then run forward as a spiraling aura surrounds her fist before she punches it across, sending it spinning (Geodude 19/68) The Geodude would use its spinning to its advantage, attacking with Rollout, rolling back at Aura, knocking her away with the strike (Aura 90/91) " Now Yukai finish it with Magical Leaf before it can get stronger." Davis says as Yukai would fold his arms as the glow before slashing them forward, sending a series of glowing leaves forward at Geodude, bombarding it, dealing 164 damage, fainting it.

" That was great teamwork you both showed for fighting together for the first time. And we got rid of those two without letting them slow us down. " Davis says giving his pokemon a thumbs up as they give happy cries in return as they continue up to the next level.
